Think pink for breast cancer research

Can you believe it’s October tomorrow? This second half of the year is just flying past lovelies! It will, dare we say it, be Christmas before we know it. Eeek!

So, there are two things happening in October that we are excited for. Firstly, daylight saving starts this weekend. Whoo hoo! Can’t wait for that extra hour of light in the evenings. Secondly, and more importantly, October is Breast Cancer Month and there’s lots of special (and fun) Pink Ribbon events taking place across the month to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research.

Sadly, we’re all likely to be affected (both directly or indirectly) by breast cancer at some point in our lives. It’s really not a nice thought, is it? That’s why it’s so important that we all do what we can to educate ourselves about the risks and warning signs as well as get involved with fundraising during October.

Here are a couple of websites for you to take a look at to find out how you get involved and raise money for breast cancer research.
