A lovely start to 2012…

Why hello there lovelies! Happy New Year! We know it’s half way through January but we haven’t spoken to you for a few weeks. We hope you all had a fabulous Christmas?

We’ve just got back from a week’s holiday in Western Australia where we visited good friends in Fremantle and then headed down to the Margaret River region for a few nights. What a beautiful spot. Sensational food and wine and some of the prettiest beaches we have seen in a long time…though nobody seems to go in above waist height for fear of sharks (yikes!).

We thought you might like to see a couple of holiday snaps from our travels and if you’re ever holidaying in WA be sure to check these spots out.

So lovely to watch the sun setting over the water while having a delicious dinner at Salt on the Beach in North Fremantle.

An amazing lunch at the Vasse Felix Winery. Melt-in-your-mouth pork belly with a roasted peach and other delicious morsels we can’t quite recall. Topped off by a glass of the winery’s Sauvignon Blanc Semiilon.

An early morning walk on the gorgeous Busselton Jetty – reaches 2km out to sea! So pretty.

Bunkers Beach – Look, hardly anyone there… all the beaches seemed to be like this. So nice to beat the crowds. Also, there was a really cute cafe right on the beach called Bunkers Beach Cafe.

So there you go lovelies – if your like yummy wine, delicious food, lots of sunshine and semi-deserted beaches, then WA is a great place for a holiday.

Have a lovely day. x.
