Home sweet home…

Hello lovelies! How are you all on this wintry Friday afternoon? At this time of the year when the mercury really drops, we all tend to spend a bit more time inside our homes, snuggling by the heater and drinking copious cups of tea. Aaaah. There’s something nice about spending more time at home and not really feeling the need to get out and about as much as we do during the summer.

As you all know, the lovely co.is a bit obsessed with all things home and design….what can we say, it’s our therapy. So of course, it goes without saying that we have been spending a lot of time of late flipping through home magazines and trawling the internet for inspiration, with said cup of tea in hand. We thought we’d share with you some of our fave decorating and homewares websites that we’ve stumbled across lately. Now you can deck out your home with some new wares to get you through the season without even having to leave home.

Mrs Darcy Flamingo Cushion - Ada & Darcy

Mrs Darcy Flamingo Cushion from Ada & Darcy…colour and a sense of humour.

www.downthatlittlelane.com.au – Down That Little Lane stocks all sorts of treasures that will help you turn your house into a home. Loving their use of colour!

www.adaanddarcy.blogspot.com.au – Ada & Darcy have lots of lovely cushions and lamps to-die-for. We’ve got a little design crush.

www.bonnieandneil.com.au – Scour Bonnie and Neil for beautiful handprinted textiles including tablecloths and cushions.

www.ivyandpiper.blogspot.com – While Ivy & Piper also sell some very stylish homewares, it’s their blog and magazine we love. Lots of fun ideas.

In case you were wondering, all our recommendations are unsolicited and not sponsored. We simply tell you about some of the brands and products we know and love.

That said, we would like to blow our own trumpet a little now. the lovely co. now offers home and events styling so please do get in touch via our Facebook page www.facebook.com/thelovelyco if your space needs a little pick-me-up. We create chic but liveable spaces that you’ll love spending time in.

As always, have a lovely weekend. X.
