love·ly [luhv-lee]adj having a beauty that appeals to the heart or mind as well as to the eye.
We started the lovely co. in 2011, initially as regular musing about all things…well, lovely. We found we were always pouring over home and fashion magazines, as well a hefty collection of recipe books we had accumulated over the years, and decided it was high time we shared some of our thoughts and ideas about food, fashion and design. No one told us that blogging would be such a fulfilling process. Once we started, we couldn’t stop!
What can we do for you?
Interiors are our real passion. Paint, furniture, flooring, wall art, rugs, decor, soft furnishings. We just love how all these elements can magically combine to create a space that’s totally ‘us’. If you’d like the lovely co. to create a look that’s totally ‘you’ then please email us at email@example.com. Perhaps you have a space that needs a total decorative overhaul, or maybe a mini-makeover is all that’s needed. Either way, we’d love to style your home or event for you. Keep an eye out for our gallery coming soon.
We’re a little addicted to cupcakes, making them that is. Vanilla are our favourite (call us old fashion) and we do a mean chocolate peanut butter frosting for something a little indulgent. If you’d like to place an order for a batch of our cupcakes email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Who is the lovely co.?
My name is Lauren Keenan and I am the gal behind the lovely co. I live with my husband (affectionately known as Mr Lovely on my blog) and my dog, Josie, in Sydney’s southern suburbs. It’s quiet and peaceful, but just close enough to the action when I need it. Right now I am very into The Block, making delicious stews in my slow cooker, Twinings Lady Grey tea and walking Josie at our local park.
Aside from this blog and my baking, I am also an interiors stylist and work freelance as a writer for an online furniture and homewares store. Basically, I get to look at lovely things all day and decide how I could use them in your home (and my own). Whether it’s styling, writing or cooking, I try to inject a little dose of lovely into everything I do, ensuring that my work not only looks great, but that it has the heart to match.
Have a lovely day.
