New kids on the block

Hi there lovelies! Last weekend we took a trip up to the new Pottery Barn and West Elm stores in Bondi Junction. LOVE! Finally, some new and affordable furniture and homewares stores just made for wintry weekend’s browsing (and in our case, buying). While these stores have been around for a number of years in the States, they have only just now made their way down under.

We were (very) pleasantly surprised by the prices. You know the drill lovelies, your fave international store finally open on Aussie shores only to slap us with hugely marked up prices… not so at West Elm and Pottery Barn (as well as Pottery Barn Kids and Williams-Sonoma). While the costs are probably a little up on US counterparts, it’s not by much. Encompassing two floors each, the shops are jam packed with lots of gorgeous goodies for your home – furniture, rugs, bedding, decor and more. Anything that’s not on display in the store can be bought online and delivered anywhere in Australia.

We purchased the super pretty Leah Durner serving tray in pink and orange, which is now taking pride of place on our dining table. Here’s how we’ve styled it.

If your home needs a little pick-me-up then you definitely need to take a look around West Elm and Pottery Barn – either in store or online.

Have a lovely afternoon. X.
